Everyone gathers annually to watch Miss Universe every year. What we don’t know (or many) is that all of this started in Long Beach, California back in 1952. Initially Miss Universe was held as the local “bathing beauty” competition for Swimwear but years later it has evolved into what we all know today: a raging beauty pageant with contestants from all over the world. Throughout the years we’ve all been fond of a few, we’ve been rooting for them since the first time we laid eyes on them.
